No one is more excited about breaking ground in Papillion than those who will call Shadow Lake home someday. Meet Madi, who is anxiously awaiting the day she gets the keys to her apartment.

“I don’t want to live with my mom and Randy forever. I want my own space,” she said. It’s a relatable sentiment to any 20-something looking to spread their wings.

For Mady, it’s a certain feature of her future flat that is of particular interest. We’ll give you a hint – Madi works four days a week in Hy-Vee’s bakery and spends her free time watching YouTube baking videos, recreating delicious macaroons and homemade marshmallows.
